The 16th Annual
World Electronics Forum (WEF) will take place January 8-10, 2011, in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Hosted by the
Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)®, WEF is a voluntary gathering of CEOs and directors of consumer electronics industry associations worldwide. Founded in 1995, WEF meets annually to:
- Discuss major topics of common interest to the various associations in attendance.
- Exchange information on industry-related services and data.
- Strengthen relations between associations for the benefit and service of our industries.
This year’s WEF will coincide with the
2011 International CES®, the world’s largest tradeshow for consumer technology and CEA’s flagship event. Primary WEF activities will take place at two official CES venues: the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) and The Venetian. A tentative schedule of events will be posted in the coming weeks.
